By creating an account, accessing, or using Cashflow, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
Important: These Terms contain a mandatory arbitration provision that requires the use of arbitration on an individual basis to resolve disputes, rather than jury trials or class actions.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration

- You are not prohibited from using our Service under applicable law
- All information you provide is accurate and complete

To access certain features of Cashflow, you must create an account. When creating your account:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Choose a strong, unique password
- Enable two-factor authentication (recommended)
- Keep your login credentials confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
2.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:
- Not share your password with others
- Use a unique password not used on other services
- Log out of your account after each session on shared devices
- Monitor your account for suspicious activity
3. Use of the Service
3.1 License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Cashflow for your personal or internal business purposes.
3.2 Acceptable Use
When using Cashflow, you agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon intellectual property rights
- Transmit malicious code or viruses
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Interfere with other users' access to the Service
- Use the Service for any fraudulent purposes
- Creating fake accounts or identities
- Manipulating financial data
- Money laundering activities
3.3 Third-Party Integrations
Cashflow integrates with third-party financial institutions and services. When you connect external accounts:
- You authorize us to access your account information
- You grant permission for read-only access (we never initiate transactions)
- You acknowledge that third-party terms may apply
Note: We aggregate data from your connected accounts but do not store your banking credentials. All connections use industry-standard OAuth 2.0 protocols.
4. Subscription Plans and Payment

Cashflow offers several subscription tiers to meet your financial management needs:

- Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
4.3 Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
- Your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan
- No partial refunds are provided for unused time

5. Data Ownership and Privacy
5.1 Your Data
You retain all rights to your financial data. We act as a data processor, not a data owner. This means:
- Your financial data belongs to you
- We process data only to provide our Service
- You can export your data at any time in CSV or JSON format
- You can request deletion of your data by closing your account
5.2 How We Use Your Data
We use your financial data to:
- Provide AI-powered insights and recommendations
- Analyze spending patterns

If you provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions ("Feedback") about Cashflow, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use such Feedback without compensation or attribution.
7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
7.1 Financial Advice Disclaimer
Important: Cashflow provides informational tools and insights but does NOT provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Our AI-generated recommendations are for informational purposes only. Always consult with qualified professionals before making financial decisions.
7.2 Service Availability
While we strive for 99.9% uptime, Cashflow is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Accuracy of data from third-party sources
- Compatibility with all devices or browsers
- That the Service will meet your specific requirements
7.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cashflow Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including:
- Loss of profits or revenue
- Loss of data or business opportunities
- Cost of substitute services
- Financial losses from decisions based on our insights
Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
8. Termination
8.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Logging into your account settings
- Selecting "Close Account" from the account menu
- Following the confirmation process
- Receiving email confirmation of account closure
8.2 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms of Service
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- Your account remains inactive for more than 2 years
- We are required to do so by law
Upon termination, your right to access and use the Service will immediately cease. We will retain your data for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted unless otherwise required by law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes:
- We will notify you via email at least 30 days before changes take effect
- We will post a notice on our website and in the app
- The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised
- Your continued use of Cashflow after changes take effect constitutes acceptance
If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and may close your account.
